| ABOUT THE TIGERS: Hurricane had its struggles in the first half, but used a huge second half performance to roll to a 35-10 win over Morgan in its firstround game last week. The Tigers trailed 10-7 in the second quarter after an Adam Long pass was intercepted and returned 60 yards for a touchdown by Joshua Miles, but Long righted the Tigers’ ship just before intermission with a 32-yard scoring strike to Trann Smith. ... Smith capped the scoring with a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter.
ABOUT THE SPARTANS: Emery shocked Park City, the Region 10 champion, to give Hurricane the extra home game after a 26-23 win last week. ...
