HURRICANE 43, DESERT HILLS 16: The Tigers' defense blew the game open by shutting out the Thunder in the second quarter.

Hurricane scored 16 in the period and never looked back.

Carly Stratton led the way with 11 points, and Megan Clyde was limited to just six.

"Scoring is what we need out of these young kids," Tigers coach Clair Woodbury said. "Megan sees the box and one every game, and the other girls had to learn how to feed off of her."
